Robert E. Harris - Treasurer

Robert E. Harris, a native of Port St. Joe, Florida is the youngest son of the late Lee and Pearly Harris. He attended high school in his hometown and was a star athlete. He graduated in 1986 with many athletic honors. While attending Alcorn and Texas Southern Universities he pursued Electronic Engineering. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Texas Southern University in 1993.

Over the years Robert has made a name for himself in the transportation logistics industry. He has worked in numerous capacities for the two largest freight companies in Texas. Recently he was promoted to Operations Manager, now overseeing a staff of over 70 personnel.

Robert spends a considerable amount of time with youth sports. He has been a referee for over 10 years for basketball, football and volleyball on the middle and high school levels. He enjoys working with the children as they learn the fundamentals of these sports.
